Unimpressed by this. Wanted to like but could find any love. The 15.8%alcohol reminded me why many zins from this time drove me to other wines.

Absolutely great Dry Creek Zin. Continues to open, well integrated and intense flavors. Dry and tannic but plenty of acid to balance out. Peppery, lots of red fruit. A bit hot but far less than others of the style. A pleasure to drink

Nose is fantastically smooth; a bit boozy like a frat house at first but once it opens the fruit is complex and delish.

Nice ripe fruit. A little sweet on the finish for me but otherwise very easy to drink with mild tannins and well balanced acidity.
