Much more tolerable than an old world bordeaux. A surprising amount of Earth for California. Rocky, dirty, but not as overwhelming as one from Bordeaux. Pretty well balanced, just not my style.

Easy drinking table red with mild, balanced tannins, and very little alcoholic heat despite being 14.5% ABV. Fruity, pleasant, and uncomplicated. Would drink it anytime.
