Dark garnet red in the glass. Initially shy nose that eventually opens up to purple fruit and graphite. Palate echoes the nose with an almost Bordelaise graphite character becoming more pronounced as the wine opens up. Medium velvety but assertive tannins from entry to the medium long, dark finish. In a very good place right now so drink up or take care of it through 2018.
