Falcon Series Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

For an under $20 bottle, this cab is about as good as they come. Kudos, Kestrel!

It's been a while since I've had a Cabernet. This was a most enjoyed gift from my friend Jack, "the wine guy".

I found it enjoyable with a steak.

A good decently dry cab 👍🏻

Dark fruit on nose. A bit light on the mouth for a cab. Mainly fruit with short to medium finish. $22 Safeway

Not a lot of fruit on the nose. But good fruit on the first sip. Subsequent sips the notes of vanilla came out. Enjoyed this with cast iron skillet chicken with mushrooms and onions. Earthiness of the mushrooms paired well with it.

Strong alcohol aroma. Spicy, vanilla notes. Decent

Strong nose of pepper and spices/ blueberry vanilla finish... Better bottles for the price
