Great cab franc from Washington state with a little bit of Malbec. Nose is haunting with notes of black pepper, sweet cherry, black licorice, and cloves. Silky smooth tannins after 90 minutes of decanting.. sweet cherry and tar abound on the palate with a long finish. If there's a downside, it's the lack of acidity to provide a backbone but still very enjoyable.
