Light ruby-rose color with such a pretty little nose. Vanilla, raspberries, and idyllic woodland forest. This ain't your typical huge fruit bomb Zin, it's more subtle and nuanced. A bit shy and coquettish, she shows class on the palate with good oak, subdued chocolate cake, and old school Old World leather. The bright fruit I expected, but the earthiness threw me for a bit of a loop. In a very good way. Outstanding tannins, nice finish. Just a very, very good old school Zin.

A little too bright for a Zin of this age. Does finish better with proper aeration.
