2013 vintage I was advised to wait until spring but alas ..here it is fresh off the truck! Bold fruit some stemmy-ness good acid a darker fruit profile. Some gritty tannin. Needs time and I'm glad to have a 6-pack for the future.

Kendric Vineyards Marin County Pinot Noir 2013: Light-bodied. Bright acidity. Balanced fruit. Dried red cherry. Cranberry. Strawberry. Black tea. Spice. Smooth lean finish. A delicate & light representation of the local terroir. Great day to all! Cheers🍷

Light in color, but in no way lacking in concentration, it shows equal levels of pure cherry fruit and earthy and minty savoriness which led a group of very experienced tasters to mistake it for a Burgundy. The slightly grainy tannin that serves as a solid foundation for the fruit probably contributed to the mistake. Very well done.

Great color and fruit on the palate. Strawberry and black cherry both there but some subtle bitterness (stemmy).
