Bright cherry red with light purple accents. Mostly ripe red fruits on the somewhat simple nose joined by spice and herbs. Simple, or rather straightforward is a perfect way to describe this Merlot. A no frills, well made wine with none of the bells and whistles. Medium bodied with mild acid and round tannins. Wonderfully lush tannins. Fresh cherries and blackberries on the palate being supported by new leather, spice box, and warm chocolate. Pick this one up, it’s fun stuff.
