Yakut Öküzgözü Blend

A decent Turkish red, medium bodied and slightly acidic.

I lived and worked in turkey from 1999 - 2008. Tried this while living there and was not impressed. Tried it again in 2017 and it has improved, but still not great. Many Turkish wines have a chalky background taste.

Not my style. Too dry for a red.
