On the nose I first smelled pineapple and melon, a slightly sweet aroma. Yet as with many a Grüner Veltliner, this has a peppery and savory bite to it. There is also a slight fizziness to the wine. It is medium-bodied and goes down nicely and easily. Very enjoyable, especially with Wiener schnitzel 🇦🇹
