I always really enjoy Kanazawa wines. The 2013 Ronin is a great merlot blend with some bright notes peeking through from the other grapes in the mix. We had it with a traditional roast beef dinner with horseradish, and this wine fit like a glove. Black fruit here. It even made a nice pairing for the chocolate bar we shared for dessert. Well done!
