My sister gave this to me when I visited her in Texas (she is a Kalyra member). I'm not normally a single varietal girl, but discovered when paired well they are just as good as my cherished blends. Spent the snow storm inside (other than shoveling) so I paired this with the one-pot Cajun pasta we made yesterday. The spice from the chicken and sausage paired well with the spiciness of the merlot
