Kalinda
North Coast Pinot Noir
$21.99. Not sure if Littorai made this or not. I’ll let the price point and score do all the talking.
Ok a few things…dry cranberries, pomegranate, strawberries, blackberries, dark cherries, salted caramel, tree bark & sap, mid, dark spice, nutmeg, cinnamon stick, vanillin, touch of saline, crushed limestone, smokiness, red forals for days, excellent acidity and well polished.
After 2 hours in a decanter …just better & better.

This is the N/V North Coast Kalinda just released. It has mostly Anderson Valley with some Sonoma Fruit. Dark cherries, cherries, strawberries, tree bark and perfumed red & pink florals on the nose. Fruit on the palate is slightly candied and ripe. Dark cherries, cherries, hues of blackberries, strawberries, darker pomegranate juice, fresh red roses, subtle minerality, nice chalk & acidity with a round fruit finish. K&L Merchants made this in conjunction with I'm assuming based on the area the fruit comes from a well known Sonoma County quality producer of Pinot. A good value at $19.99. However, I would have liked to seen more new oak use but at this price point that's just not going to pencil.
