Powerful and rich aromas of black currant, sweet spices, chocolate, and alcohol. Pretty floral. Strong alcohol. Still deep purple and inky after 11 years. Fruity on palate, full bodied and not imbalance. Not as complex as I thought. Long alcohol heat on the finish.

KWN #8. Pruney, raisiny. Almost port-like. Some pepper on the finish. This is starting to turn. Still ok but less than at its full potential. I held this way too long. Which worries me as I've got a half dozen other '06 Australian cabs and shiraz in the cellar.
