Not as offal as its namesake. A stunning nose that gives way to a slightly rough and natty palate. Good acidity and minerality. A field blend of direct press reds (Cab Franc, Cab Sauv) and skin contact whites (Pinot Gris, Chard, Semillon, and Sauv Blanc). The Pinot Gris seems to be leading the band. Interesting, fun wine for those who like the style. Definitely a Sullivan signature.
