J.P. Chenet
Pays d'Oc Cabernet Syrah
Languedoc, Languedoc Roussillon, France
Fine drinking wine. Medium to small body, hints of fruit and very mild tannins. Very little aftertaste.

It's wet, it's red...c'est l'eau rouge.
In a signature crooked bottle, it's the most popular and accessible wine in West Africa...drunk at nearly every "maquis" (open-air pub). Sold next to box wines with names like "Be Classy."
It's feather-light, a bit fruity, inoffensive and inexpensive...hence its popularity. Otherwise, there's not much to recommend about this giant commercial wine. A broken bar step up from cheap beer.
