A good wine that probably needed more time to breath and open up, even though it was given well over two hours. Enjoyable, but not my style because of its low acidity, which could have helped focus the wine. Powerful taste kirsch, licorice, and cherries, with a long finish marked by graphite notes. Has definitely sparked my curiosity of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
