If you are a fan of Washington wines, then this is a true staple. Bright cherry and forest floor/moss on the nose. After decanting for an hour, this wine really blossoms, wonderful fruit/tannins/oak balance. This should be good to go in about 5 years but is pleasant now with proper decanting.

Of the 9 wines tasted, this was the best. Muscular and bold with ripe black fruits, chocolate, and firm tannins. Would benefit from a few years of cellaring.

More like Antagonist? Maybe. Really average at best, and most mediocre Wash St Cab I can remember having (been digging them in general these days).

Preferred the Readers 2019, but we didn’t decant this bottle and probably should have ($37).
