Similar to bottle in France 3 1/2 years ago. VA is prominent, but some classical, lead pencil, mineral inflections and richer fruit than 2007 Saint Julien AOC. Has a Natural wine, vinegar inflection at finish after a lot of air.

Super salty and briny, lots of oak black olive and mushroom, chocolate. Kind of a crazy wine.

I really enjoyed this. Old school Bordeaux--roughly 80% cab, and little new oak. Very aromatic and has a purity about it. Good acidity allows it to pair well with food.
