Figured it was time for our dogs to make their Delectable debut after seeing @Carl Fischer 's photogenic pups!
As for this wine, it is my favorite Zinfandel. Always has been. Don't see how something can beat it. For the '14 vintage, they moved away from Napa and sourced from Alexander Valley...was hesitant it wouldn't live up to past vintages, but I was relieved. Ruby red in to the glass. A rockin bouquet that can be smelt far away of boysenberries, blueberries, and black licorice. So beautifully integrated on the palate with candied almonds, cherry pie, and Cedar. If anyone thinks they've tasted a mind blowing zin, I'd love to know so I could compare it against this. Love all of Jessup's wine.

Jan 29th, 2017This had a very bright flavor, struggling for a descriptor, maybe tart cherry, but not acidic.
