Jeff Runquist Wines Silvaspoons Vineyard ‘R’ Touriga 2013: This was an unfamiliar & new wine for me. Served by my sister, this California grown, Portuguese varietal was round & fruity with medium tannins & a nice soft finished. It was the perfect companion to start off the evening meal however it left me very intrigued to try more of this winemaker’s work! Seems they explore unique grape varietals from around the world.
