2004 vintage.

A nice break from Cali, sanguine, tamarind, roasted pecan, unripe black plums and mineral earth. Tons of structure, but goes down so easy. Can't remember the last time I drank a 12% red. 80% Cab Franc - 20% Malbec.

Purchased as part of a new local wine club. Delicious with an herbaceous, truffle, meaty side punctuated by dark fruit. Nice integrated tannin and a snappy side to it.
