A perfectly balanced Sangiovese dominant blend with a splash of Zinfandel, this Paso Robles wine can substitute for a solid Chianti, meaning it pairs perfectly with just about any Italian food one can throw at it. Smooth drinking with muted blueberries, cherries, and Walla Walla style fungus, it works as a cocktail wine as well.

Funky smell with some CA fruit soup on the nose. Flavor is more fruit soup. Candy and oak. Not very dynamic or interesting. A little bit of bitterness but not enough to save it.
