Nothing about the label indicates the wine's Australian origins, and the wine itself is equally deceptive: smoky, ripe but not voluptuous black fruits, with fine, gripping tannins.

Helooo nurse, just a delicious alluring Syrah that's hard not to pound. A little richness but underlying acidity to keep it balanced.

Really cool surprise from Australia. Balanced, restrained, layered. Blueberry pie, black olives, currants, wild herbs, stemmy spice, warm spices. Moderate tannins and bright acid give this a certain freshness. 13.4% abv.
