This is super interesting, in a good way. This is going to sound blizzard but this Champagne has a very pleasant aroma which I can only compare to that grainy smell of a country grain or feed depot. It's the secondary brioche and toasty citrus apple notes which follow that are all too wonderful and familiar in a Grand Cru Champ.
