Slight funk and wet leafy-ness

Pleasant easy red wine value. Smokey ripe red cherry. Nice acidity

Softer Cabernet full of mellow dried herbs and cherry. Loving it with grilled pork tenderloin.

Touch of oak on the lighter side red berries, earthy tobacco, leather and dried herbs. Soft finish. Great pairing with some roasted chicken.

So. I don't know much about Virginia wine, nor would I have picked this as a Cab Franc, but ill be damned if this isn't some interesting stuff! Funky, fruity and natural. Floral and earthy in the nose and the mouth, great acidity and medium finish. I would have had zero clue what this was blind...
