I was able to attend another Wednesday Wine Committee this week and it did not disappoint (they never do). As normal, all wines are tasted blind (1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert).

This was so good, the majority of the room thought it was french champagne. A sparkling roussanne from WA?! Are you kidding me? This was so tart, and so dry, but the bubbles were deceiving...tiniest of bubble strings with little yeast and lots of unripened Granny Smith apples.
