300 cases made. Ruby red, very good clarity, moderate to heavy pigment extraction. Rich flavor profile, slightly oily with black currant, cherry, raspberry notes in mouth. Light mouth coating tannins on finish. Mint and herb aftertaste. Nice complexity though fruit intensity seems lighter than tannin and alcohol levels. I like the acidity, not too low or high. Still highly ageable overall. After one hour, fruit expression intensifies, so decant at least that long

Purple to garnet red, moderate pigment extraction, very good clarity. Leather, wood and blackberry notes in nose. Blackberry, cherry flavors with length, raspberry on finish. Good balance, acid a tad above the ethanol but nicely so, some unresolved fine-grained seed tannins on initial pour with moderate skin astringency. I’m liking this one after 30 minutes, and wishing I’d bought more. 425 cases made. A solid version for WA state cab fans

Dense garnet red, highly extracted pigment. Cherry berry minty flavors, seed tannin finish initially. Bright acidity moderate skin astringency. Needs time to open, I’m at 60 minutes and it can use even more. 91/5/4 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, 270 cases made.

Walla Walla Valley. Grapes from five vineyards, 76/9/8/7 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Merlot. Dense purple in color, highly extracted. Butter, mustard green and black currant notes in nose initially. Similar flavors in mouth with light seed and skin tannins, light astringency on opening. Blueberry seed and black pepper flavors emerges after 30 minutes, Herbal, caraway seed aromas and mustard seed flavors emerge after 45 minutes. Well balanced, well crafted. Light seed bitterness persists in an attractive way. Light, bright mostly citric acidity in finish with cool minerality that gradually emerges. My last bottle of this vintage; wish I’d bought more...

Purple, dense. Anise, eucalyptus, cassis and herbs/weeds in nose. Blackberry, cranberry, black current and white pepper in mouth, slightly heady finish with lactic and cranberry finish. Lots of acidity. Some seed tannins plus astringency across roof of mouth.
