Traminac

Dry Croatian white (Traminac) from the Danube region, loamy on the nose, with sharp finish, at Croatian wine tasting at the Wine House, Kennebunk, ME

Angular, light Gewurztraminer. Flinty aspects overwhelm the fruit producing a tinny metallic taste. Got it as gift from some who must dislike me 😀

Quite sweet, I would avoid taking it with fish, but it it’s fantastic for desserts

Flowery-est wine I’ve ever tasted. Like a gewurstraminer only more flowers and lychees still. Yummy.

Sour nose, interesting on the palate.

Enjoyed it, quite a fruity, light flavour, but not a great aftertaste.

Quite tasty. Fresh, rich flower nose but very short, sour sweet finish.
