Not at what I expected. Mellow with vanilla and stone fruit on the nose and tongue. Very bourbony in an odd kind of way. Finishes with a sort of vegetal bitterness, almost like fernet branca. I think that’s characteristic of single grains, though my experience is limited. More fascinating than delicious, but I loved drinking it all the same.
