Chambourcin

This 2011 Chambourcin was aged in French oak. The wine tasted watery up front with a wonderful aftertaste. Winemaker's tasting notes: "This French-American hybrid grape is definitely a show stopper. Produced in the traditional French style, the Chambourcin is medium in body with earthy and spicy complexities. Wonderfully fruit forward with Rich notes of right cherries and plum with just hint of spice on the finish.
