2002 Heron Hill Ingle Vineyard Johannesberg Riesling, winner of the San Francisco International Wine Competition (in 2004?). Bottle signed by winemaker Thomas László. The wine has held up remarkably well over the 15 years, and in all likelihood has improved with age. Best part is its incredibly creamy texture, which complements the lemony acidity. Excellent complexity and finish. Gotta love a good Riesling!
