Alandra Tinto Alentejo Castelão Blend

First glass had a bitter after taste. Next day after bottle opened this wine really opened up and tasted great.

Nice evening wine from Portugal - for me it was semi dry, berry tasting. As label says - it's blend of Portugal grape varieties.

Very nice

Straight up with all the components. Soft and mild tannins on dark red berries. Opened 3/3/17. Had with fried pork and clams in Lisbon.

Ehh... Didn't expect anything good for the extremely low price... But I've never had a red wine from Portugal before. So there's that.

Restaurant wine standard

Decanted it for a few hours to open it up. Fruit forward but not overly sweet, with a peppery finish. Great with grilled meat. Very good value, would buy again
