Les Charmeaux Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Palest wine from Burgundy that I've come across in years. Looks like Pinot Noir from the Jura. Delicately-scented Orange, cranberry, and damp earth. A bit simple, but tasty.

After three days of air (in bottle after a few hour decant) this really showed it's stuff. Airy, vibrant, juicy fruit. This was a very low score before it opened!

Light with bright red fruit. Touch of grip. Not the most complex pinot but quite nice.

I wish it was a little more complex, but I still think it's a great wine.

Lack of depth and complexity. But inoffensive, which for a moderately priced Pinot is ok.
