Sep 25th, 2025It was exquisite! After opening it, it needed to settle down a bit. I was afraid to decant it given its age. But after 30 minutes I did and it opened up wonderfully. The tannins integrated with the dark dry fruit and became so fine, rounded and soft, while becoming very present over time creating a long memorable finish. It was extremely delicate and very much old country style. Loved it! 9.7.
