This 10 year cab has developed nicely but just passed its prime. Stewed blue fruits, dates, brûlée. Peppery and slightly syrupy mouth feel. Tannins were mostly resolved.
Heller Estate is a pioneer in organic farming as the vineyard was certified organic since 1996. The estate was sold and became Massa Estate in 2018 after the previous owners passed away.

Beautiful organic local wine. Smooth and light for a cab. If you prefer reds over whites, this could pair with fish. Modest hints of cherry, but not sweet. Somewhat dry.
