Inky purple-red, highly extracted pigment. Black currant, briar and spearmint notes in nose. Cherry and black currant flavors, butter in finish, some fine-grained skin astringency as well. Raisin and tar emerge after 90 minutes. Nice complexity if you give it time, not soft or polished but a solid red with character.

Hints of oregano, then raisins and currants, some white pepper and a light finish. Yum. Anne Hubatch is making some great stuff out of OR w some grapes from the pac NW.
