Since I'm in Seattle for a couple days I needed to go with a local Washington wine. This is a Cabernet Sauvignon from Hedges Family Estate. The color is deep red, almost a vibrant purple with a ruby rim. The nose is full of currants, dark plumb, sweet blackberry, oaky wood, and an amazing dark ripe grape. This wine is very dry and has awesome flavors of plumb, goji berry, bruised raspberry, aged wood/oak/ Cedar, sweet straw/grass, and rich soil. Very low alcohol nose and taste....flat and dry mouth feel. 🍷🤗
