Hearthstone 2008 Lodestone GSM from Paso Robles. Mostly syrah on this with almost equal parts grenache and mourvedre. There's this pretty magenta color to the wine and it has a spicy nose of bramble and red berry and plum. Confirmed on the palate, with great tannins that show but don't overpower and a finish that leaves that spice lingering. An above average Paso blend that I'm very happy with.

This is a deep, and beautifully crafted red blend. Featuring 52% Syrah, 43% Grenache, and round it out with 5% Mourvèdre. The 2010 is perfect for consuming right now.
