Our 1st wine for #languedocday is a Picpoul de Pinet from Coteaux du Languedoc @languedocwines

Nicely done. Fresh, vibrant yet not edgy. Adequate.

Interesting, has a comparable profile to Muscadet. Good drink.

Complex fruit on palate, grapefruit forward. Slightly sweet but dry. Nice finish

Lemon zest 🍋 , citrusy 🍊 , fresh 💦and slightly crisp with a floral aroma. 🌻 Nothing remarkable, but I ordered this, as it was the suggested pairing for oysters. I wouldn’t order it again. Haha! (That’s a First) I had it paired with fried oysters! (side-note, it did go well with the oysters, but there are far better wines out there. Save your bucks on this one) The oysters were quite deliciosos though! The sauce was to die for! I need that recipe. Stat! 😋 Family dinner night is the best! ✨ #OysterLove

Had to resort to Whole Foods for a few bottles. Surprised at this picpoul though. I wouldn’t suggest pairing it with gumbo. Lol.

Still good. Still cheap.

Slight buttery aroma, pairs really well with oysters. Light dry taste.
