Hello big bold zin! Reminiscent of a Napa zin - tobacco, nutmeg, baked dark fruit, licorice. Tertiary flavors are really starting to come out nicely in this one. Can drink now or continue to hold.

The Hanna zin was the hit of the night. Mountain zin had plenty of zin berry flavors and tannins to hold another few years. Highly recommended.

Dug up from the "cellar" after the 11+yr away. T was given this on a Cali trip WAY back when. Pretty sure the storage conditions on this one were less than optimal but wow it held up. Darkest of red fruits in a powerful but soft kind of way. The 16% alc is apparent but not obnoxious. The most gentle tertiary tone trying to come thru. I was expecting more of it and kind of wanted it. While an enjoyable experience, not one to make me chase Zin.
