Yes Virginia, there was a day when Zinfandel was not synonymous with 15% plus fruit bombs. Don't know how this escaped drinking for so long, but it's in perfect condition and very savory. Young winemakers (yes Hardy I mean you) take note. Here's a grape that needs to be rescued with some creativity. 13.5% abv.
