I can appreciate the style even though it’s not what I like to drink. Bold, lush, good concentration. Brambles, jam, dark fruit. Drying tannins.

Beautiful and quintessential Cali cab, soft tannins, big berries and tobacco. Great wine.

Blended almost equally from Cab, Petit Verdot & Malbec. It's really good. Strong anise and dark spiced plum notes. Plenty of stuffing, you should have no problem laying it down for another 5+ years. One of the best Cali cab based wine I've have had in a while.

Is Halter Ranch still a well kept secret?

Even though cab blends are not my favorite, this was delicious. Very balanced, see why they are known for it.
