Yes, Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy! In fact, the St Bris appellation was previously called 'Sauvignon de Saint-Bris' (before 2003). And you can ONLY use SB or Sauv Gris fruit, + max 12.8% ABV. Love the terroir and plan to show it blind just to mess with my Sancerre obsessed friends.

2012 vintage- a curiosity being a Sauvignon Blanc from Burgundy - apparently not something you want to meet in an options game - this is the way SB should be treated - very enjoyable

Jul 26th, 2015Krispigt grönt äpple på doften, Granny; lätt saltbris med touch av tång. Björk, nässla. Vattnig färg, flädersaft, tunn färsk lemonad. Rejäl syra, citronskal, -saft, i munnen; nytt regn på grå sten.

I like to consider myself somewhat of an expert when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc and yet this bottle completely surprised me. Very lovely and unique in flavor but still had all the classic attributes that you would expect from a French varietal.
