Deep, black cherry red. Fruit bouquet suppressed by alcoholic strength. Big, bold, jammy, potent oaky tannins, seriously ripe and boozy. Went really well with medium sirloin, but dominated other foods on the palate. Perhaps an hour or more in the decanter would tame this wolf nicely ;)
