Zweigeltrebe

Bright cherry on the nose. Strong hints of red berry and jelly. Med plus acidity and med tannins with med plus alcohol. The strong scent of cherries disappoints as the wine is fairly thin on the palate. Faint hints of cherry and sour apple. Does not taste like it smells. The finish is long but overall the wine lacks complexity. Not bad. Not great. Not really my personal cup of tea. But people that like Beaujolais or other easy quaffing reds would like this.

Dry. Bit of cherry. Somewhat resembles Beaujolais nouveau, i.e., a bit disappointing. Not bad but not good either.
