Probably just past its peak but lovely stonefruit and blackberry notes. Short finish, great and unassuming with a nice grilled NY strip. Decanted for about 3 hours before drinking - more might have helped but that seemed sufficient.

This was an interesting glass. A little more fruit forward Cabernet with rich notes of licorice and a touch of cedar. But to me the initial blast did not translate into a big finish. Tannins to me were a bit understated but may have mellowed with age. All in very smooth and still enjoyable.

Enjoyed every drop of this @ Carpe Diem, downtown Napa NYE. Decadent flavor; I wanted to swim I'm it. Paired with Brie or braided rib tamale- and soulful r&b tunes on the playlist...just perfect
