It’s smooth - too smooth. Glenfiddich has always struck me as a good beginner scotch and this doesn’t change that opinion. Look, it’s good - toffee, cedar and pine, cinnamon and cumin - it’s just a little soft for me. Too sweet too. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Maybe I prefer cognac. Seem pretty alcohol forward compare to cognac.
