This whisky took nearly a week to open up in the bottle, but once it did - oh my! Rich and creamy, spicy and sweet, sherried without being over the top. Superbly balanced and unpretentious - not too mucked around with. Very good.

Bought this bottle to drink side to side with a Glendiffich 18. It's slightly more dynamic and has more of a bite to it. Not as rich and smooth, which I love about the Glendiffich, but I will definitely be looking into getting the GlenDronach 18 now.
