Giuseppe Lonardi
Privilegia Rosso Veronese Corvina Blend
Rich brambly berries, dark cherries, figs, leather, dried tobacco, sweet spices, damp earth, smoke, ripe pyrazines. Palate is rich and juicy with lively acid, firm but tame tannins, and mineral finish. Delicious, surprising, and great value compared to other Italian IGT blends

Aug 3rd, 2015First impression was musty earth with a hint of pepper. First couple of sips were disappointing but then it opened up. I took this to a movie so I could not decant. I think it needs this for sure. Green pepper and spice were the predominant taste. This did have a nice lingering finish.
